comments: I had enough of those papers that were being thrown on my driveway. I called pennypincher and couldn't get anyone to answer, so I left message, if they cant put papers on my porch I don't want it, if I threw out papers on the street like that, I'd have a littering ticket. To my amazement they stopped, hurrayyyyyy
comments: Why is it the countryman paper can be thrown on the driveways of everybody in armada, is this not littering ??? Ever paper that I subscribe to I WILL CANCEL!!! if they throw the paper on the driveway. How can I cancel this Paper???
comments: To: Lisa from Wyoming, I understand your frustration.  My brother Vince left a financial mess.  His widow is handling, or rather last time I spoke with her, someone named Sue Thompson is handling the Tractor Barn situation.  You may be able to contact Vince's widow at the address you have.  Her mail will be forwarded.  Good Luck. It's not a happy time for my family members.

Comments: some are using the recent blackout to further their cause {"see! arent u glad ur not on detroit water, we had water during blackout"} well, im not looking forward to paying the bills they want us to pay, especially being 1 person and paying same as 5 or 6 person residence. will detroit want us to pay 6 million all at once, how long will they give us to pay it? charging flat rate, cause some will conserve water, and they wont get the money they want, is very poor plan.

Comments: I would like to let everyone know that the "Armada All-Stars" (Red-A) came in 1st place at our (Armada) tournament this year. This was all due to the great leadership displayed by the coaches. They made these kids believe in themselves and in what teamwork is all about. While practicing almost everyday but yet having a great time doing it. They instilled sportsmanship, teamwork and just pure fun!! I have lived here in Armada since 1995, I have been active in the community from day one. I have seen many coaches come and go in a variety of sports but I have never seen in my years of coaching/spectating such a great display of leadership and fairness toward the children and parents of this team. They made this team feel #1 and they were! In my eyes the team was #1 and didn't need the trophy to prove it. Thank You!!! Coaches: Frank Martin, Scott Baker, Kerry Dubare, Stan Wolf and a very special thank  you to Scott Hyatt!!! Your leadership was greatly appreciated!

Comments: I'm glad our police force tickets speeders, but lets tag those speeding gravel haulers as well. We are fortunate that a child or car hasn't been smashed by some of those large trucks that have to make fast stops at the intersection. There is no reason to speed, if you want to speed take Romeo Plank. Shoemaker is a fine officer, keep up the good hunting.
From: Main Street

Comments: God Bless Officer Shoemaker! In some parts of West Main (on and near the bridge over the creek), the sidewalk is *inches* from the roadway. I see kids walking there and cars zipping by so close to them and I cringe. So few cars seem to obey the 25 mph speed limit! So, Paul, you just keep on writing those tickets. I've got  no sympathy for the speeders. If Armada *didn't* have a reputation as a speed trap, I shudder to think of how fast people would drive.

Comments: My family and I recently moved to Armada, but I had no idea that Armada had so much history. We have good friends that have lived here all their lives. I'm proud to say this is our town now too, and that my grandchildren (when we have them) will know how special Armada truly is! And yes it is true, TIM ALLAN "the tool time guy" is building a  house on 31 Mile about a quarter mile down.

comments: Is it true The Tool Time Guy is moving into town?
From: Armada Meadow Resident

comments: I feel the village residents deserve MORE for their taxes than just police service. Perhaps simple things like garbage pick up or street care summer/sinter would be nice. The village is small but pays twice the cost of Township taxes. There does the money go??? The water should be a premium quality since they want to charge gold for it. Maybe they should take the money needed for upgrade and connect to Detroit water - it may be cheaper in the long run.

comments: Where are our tax dollars?  The roads in this town are horrible, and obviously not a priority for fixing.

Additionally, neighbors, please stop driving in town like there's no one else on the road.  We're getting bigger and bigger and I see too many "near misses" because of people driving through town like it was the old days.

From: Scott Bryan - How can one find out about who owns the property next door to you? Is this Public information?

HELP!! Does anyone know what is up with Tractor Barn. I know Vince passed away but they still have $10,000.00 of my money and I can't reach anyone. Thanks and God Bless, Lisa from Wyoming.

From: The one with the Crick - Okay I have lived in Armada my whole life and I don't know you. But that's okay I don't know everyone. Just make sure that everyone knows not to speed, cause Officer Shoemaker likes to write tons of tickets. Last of all we need to rebuild our town from the horrible fire we had years ago - GOD BLESS THE TROOPS

Hello. My name is Terry Schlenz, many of you might know who I am! well I just wanted to tell ya that Armada was the best town I have lived in in all my life!
