The Brown City Public Library was first organized on June 15, 1937 and has been steadily growing ever since the first books were placed on the shelves.
Your library has thousands of books and magazines to loan out. We also have free educational videos, books on tape, plus two computers with free internet service. Director Shirley Wood and Assistant Director Mary Gunn can obtain almost any book that is in print through inter-library loan for you to read and enjoy.
Each summer the library sponsors a summer reading program for the kids. This year's theme is "Read with the Rugrats." Summer reading helps kids keep up their reading skills while they are out of school.
During Brown City Days there will be a quilt show at the library. Come and enjoy these beautiful works of art.
