
James R. Crimboli, age 84 of Brown City and formerly of Utica died October 15, 2002 in Marlette. He was born February 11, 1918 in South Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Joe and Mary Crarimboli. He graduated from South Greensburg High School and attended Ford Trade in Detroit. He served in the Navy during WWII and was stationed in Hawaii. He married Luella Cameron on January 13, 1972.
He retired from Lamb Technicon in Warren, Michigan where he worked for 37 years as a machinist. He helped raise money for the Brown City Park Board by serving spaghetti dinners with his famous sauce.
James is survived by his wife of 30 years, Luella Crimboli of Brown City, Michigan, six children; Dennis Crimboli, Canton Township, Tom (Jackie) Crimboli, East Pointe, Mary Jo (Bud) Stone, Waterford, Linda Riester, Allenton, Denise (Tom) Smith, Sterling Heights, Cecily (Christopher) McCloud, Milan, sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five brothers, William, Frank, Alex, Dominick and John, a sister Mary Heims and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joe and Fredo.
A visitation will be at the Carman Funeral Home in Brown City on Thursday, October 17, 2002 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 18, 2002 from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City with Pastor Arthur Stone officiating. Burial will be in West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood.
