Carol M. Cronce, age 56 of Brown City, died October 3, 2002 in Elk Township. She was born January 29, 1946 in Detroit to Kenneth and Marguerette Smith.

She graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn. She married Richard Cronce on August 7, 1965 in Taylor.

She was a housewife and mother. She also was a member of Pasofino of Michigan horse club and made ceramic dolls.

Carol is survived by her husband Richard, 3 sons; Wade Cronce, Scott (Lisa) Cronce and Kevin Cronce; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle and Kelly; her parents Marguerette and Kenneth Smith; brother, Allen Smith and sister Gayle Vanhyte and nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be in Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, Saturday, October 5, 2002 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, 2002 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 7, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Fledderjohann officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or United Hospice, Marlette.
