Sarah Marie Fields, age 87 of Luzerne, Michigan and formerly of Port Huron, Michigan, died September 2, 2002 in Traverse City, Michigan. She was born June 9, 1915 in Peck, Michigan. She married Samuel Fields on November 4, 1935.

She was a housewife and a mother.

She is survived by four children; Robert (Marion) Fields of Decker, Michigan, Harry (Margaret) Fields of North Street, Joanne (Orville) Cox of Luzerne, Michigan, Raymond (Diana) Fields of Yale, Michigan, Twenty Grandchildren, Thirty five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, Sister Lila Craig, step brothers John Cook and David Cook, step sisters Peggy Ostron, Barbara Croteau.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sam Fields, Daughter Louise Fields, grandson Alan Fields, parents, and step-mother Nettie Cook.

Visitation will be held at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, Michigan on Wednesday, September 4th from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cemetery.
