Theo "Ted" Greenwood, age 94 of Brown City and formerly of Madison Heights died Friday, October 25, 2002 in Sandusky. He was born March 31, 1908 in Roseburg, Michigan to George and Ellie Mae Greenwood. He served in the United States Army during World War II, serving in the European Theater and on his return married Billie McDuffy.

A factory worker, he worked for Desoto and later the Dodge Press Plant and retired from Chrysler Corporation after 30 years. He was a member of the Brown City VFW.

He is survived by a nephew Richard (Mary) Tobin of Brown City, four nieces; Mary Bell Harrison, Silver Springs, Maryland, Kathy Blaska, Chicago, Elaine Mossey, Melton, Missouri and Betty Parilli, Lincoln Park, Michigan and neighbors and friends at Sanilac Extended Care Facility.

He was preceded by his wife Billie, a brother Arnold and two sisters Elzira and Mable and a nephew Frances Tobin.

A visitation will be in Carmen Funeral Home in Brown City on Sunday, October 27, 2002 from 2:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 28, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Yale.
