Jeffery Dale Greenwood, age 42 of Marlette, Michigan died Sunday, February 2, 2003 in Marlette. Michigan. He was born June 3, 1960 in Pontiac to J. C. and Mary Greenwood. He graduated from Marlette High School Class of 1978. He had attended St. Clair County Community College and also Baker College. He married Ruth Elizabeth McClard on September 29, 1990 in Thornville, Michigan.

Mr. Greenwood owned and operated his own landscaping/snow plowing business for over 15 years. Prior to that he worked for General Motors. Some of his favorite things were watching his daughters play sports, the Lions and Tigers play ball and listening to the music of Bob Seager.

He is survived by his wife Ruth, three daughters; Jennifer and Jamie McClard and Jessica Greenwood, his parents J. C. and Mary Greenwood, a brother Todd and three brothers in-law, Delmer McClard, Tony and Michael Ragatz, father and mother in-law Harry and Lavonne Ragatz and nephew Jason (Rhonda) Reid, and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a niece Lillian Ragatz.

Visitation for family ahd friends will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, Michigan from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. with funeral services Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Fred Leuke of Thornville Baptist Church will officiate. Pall Bearers will be Michael Ragatz, Toney Ragatz, Jeff Moore, Steve Hovey, Delmer McClard and Jason Reid. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
