Robert L. Kreiner, age 72 of Melvin died September 2, 2002 in Port Huron, Michigan. He was born December 6, 1929 in Brown City, Michigan to Daniel and Frances Kreiner. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

A dairy farmer and livestock dealer he bought and sold cattle statewide. He was a member of the Peck American Legion and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife MaryLou Kreiner, Nine children; Michael (Patricia) Kreiner, Wolverine, Michigan, Keith (Gail) Kreiner, Peck, Michigan, Angie (Ronald) Kohler, Melvin, Michigan, Sam (Tammy) Kreiner, Melvin, Michigan, Connie (Daryl) Miller, Brown City, Michigan, Amy (Jerry) Harris, Clio, Michigan, Kimberly Kreiner, Melvin, Michigan, Tina Carson, Brown City, Michigan, Nick Mathew Kreiner, Melvin, Michigan. Five brothers; Bernard, Daniel Jr., Edward, Russ and Albert and three sisters; Katherine Soreign, Helen Atkins and Patty Fernald, Eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby son Robert J. Kreiner and a brother Richard.

Visitation will be at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City on Thursday September 5th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Friday September 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Building Fund or a charity of the donors choice.
