Shirley A. Owens, age 64 of Croswell died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 in Marlette, Michigan. She was born April 16, 1938 in Detroit to Lawrence and Angeline York. She married James Owens on July 20, 1988.

A nurse aide she worked at Marlette Hospital and Medilodge of Yale.

She is survived by her husband James, 3 children Lisa (Lloyd) Schwartz, Florida, Michael (Tina) Owens, Yale, Michigan and Brenda Owens, Utica, 3 grandchildren: Steven, Michael and Amber and a stepfather Frank Mitchell and a brother Michael and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held in Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, Michigan on Saturday, December 28, 2002 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 29, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
