Helen M. Vinande, age 84 of Brown City, Michigan died on Tuesday, October 14, 2002 in Sandusky. She was born on November 12, 1917 in Brown City to Dougall and Hilda MacLarty. She graduated from Brown City High School in 1936. She married Peter Vinande Jr.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a homemaker.

Helen is survived by her three children; Marvin (Aralynn) Vinande, Gross Pointe, Michigan, L. Marie (Dale) Bauman, Imlay City, Michigan and Barbara Jean Vinande, Farmington Hills, Michigan, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Erdine (Leon) Blatt and several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Peter Vinande, brothers; Harry, Oren and Kenneth Vinande.

Visitation will be at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, Michigan on Thursday, October 17, 2002 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 18, 2002 from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday October 19, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
