Margaret Mabel Brinker, age 86 of Imlay City, Michigan passed away Sunday September 12, 2004 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility.
Margaret was born the daughter of Matthew and Mabel (Handley) Hannon on January 15, 1918 in Imlay Township, Michigan and had been a long time resident of Imlay City.
She graduated from Imlay City High School class of 1937.
Margaret married Lawrence Arthur Brinker (he died in 1986) on August 28, 1937 in Imlay City.
Margaret was a homemaker most of her life. She did work for  Beverly Manor in Grand Blanc as a nurse's aide for a short time.
Margaret was a member of St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church Alter Society in Grove City, Florida and while living in Englewood, Florida she was a part of the community group Fun Chorus and Choir.

Margaret is survived by son: Robert (Janice) Brinker of Davison, Michigan, 4 daughters; Mary Jane (Daniel) Burger of Florida, Ruth Ann (Robert) Thibodeau of North Branch, Michigan, Donna (Nate) Myers of Stanwood, Michigan, and Kathy (Robert) Fendry of Grand Blanc, Michigan, 19 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law; Judy Brinker of Imlay City, Michigan, brother-in-law; Chuck Warner of Imlay City, Michigan, 3 sisters; Josephine Treadgold of Imlay City, Michigan, Lucy Laarman of Imlay City, Michigan, and Grace (Matthews) Fickes of Imlay City, Michigan.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Brinker, son Richard Brinker (2003), sister Ruth Warner and Sister Patricia Drave, 1 great-granddaughter and parents Matthew and Mabel Hannon.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Cornelius Catholic Church in Dryden, Michigan. Father Wayne Ureel will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Imlay City, Michigan.

Friends may call at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Imlay City, Michigan, where the family will be available for visiting from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, September 14, 2004. There will be a 7:30 pm rosary.
