Phyllis Elaine Crake, age 81, of Imlay City, Michigan passed away Monday, July 5, 2004 at her home.
Phyllis was the daughter of Herman and Lydia (Dorow) Schuneman born September 17, 1922 in Goodland Township, Michigan.
Phyllis is a long time resident of Imlay City and spent most of her life here. She graduated from Imlay City High School.
She married Louis Edison Crake (he died January 3, 2003) on September 29, 1939 in Goodland Township.
Phyllis was self-employed doing catering at the Center Building in Lapeer, Michigan with Judy Lothrop, and was a member of the West Goodland United Methodist Church.

Phyllis sis survived by 2 daughters; Janice Strong of Imlay city, Michigan, and Laraine (Dr. David) Brower of Grand Blanc, Michigan, 1 son; Jerry (Carol) Crake of Brown City, Michigan, 4 grandchildren; Robert Brieger, Rebecca Brieger Dormire, Dena Keiley, and Rachel Worth, 4 great-grandchildren; Nikkail Dormire, Brieanne Dormire, Ashley Kelley, and Hayley Werth.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Louis Crake, parents; Herman and Lydia Schuneman, son; Dale E. Crake, daughter; Patty Crake, and her sister; Gladys (Walker) Rathka.

Funeral Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, Pastor Jimmy Barnett and Pastor Pam Barnett will officiate with interment at Imlay Township Cemetery.

Friends may call the Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, Michigan, where the family will be available for visiting from 7-9 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2004 and 1-5 and 7-9 on Wednesday, July 7, 2004.
