
Jerry Deppong, age 69, of Imlay City,
Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2004 at his home.
Jerry was the son of John and Marion (Weese) Deppong born July 7, 1935 in Imlay
City, Michigan.
Jerry grew up in the Attica, Michigan area and spent most of his life in the
Imlay City area.
He graduated with the class of 1953 from Lapeer High School and spent a year at
Michigan State University.
Jerry married Carol Ann Eddy on May 31, 1958 in Imlay City, Michigan.
Jerry had been a manager at Agrico in Attica, Michigan in the late 1960's. He
became a self employed business man in 1973, and was the owner of the general
store The Country Corner in Almont, Michigan.
Jerry is survived by his wife Carol Deppong of Imlay City, Michigan, 2 daughters: Lori (Mark) Nash of Imlay City, Michigan and Kristin (Brett) Bauer of Aurora, Michigan, son Jeff (Annette) Deppong of Imlay City, Michigan, 6 grandchildren: Nichole Nash, Brian Deppong, Eric Nash, Benjamin Deppong, Taylor Bauer, and Emily Bauer, several nieces and nephews, in-laws: George and Ruth Burns of Imlay City, Michigan, James Berry of Imlay City, Michigan, Aunt and Uncle: Warren and Jenny Weese, brother John (Marge) Deppong of Lansing, Michigan, sister Sharon (John) McKillen of Sturgis, Michigan.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents: John and Marion Deppong, and sister-in-law Ellaine Berry.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Imlay City, Michigan. Pastor Alan Casillas will officiate with interment at Imlay Township Cemetery.
Friends may call Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 25 N. Main Street, Imlay City, Michigan, where the family will be available for visiting from 6-9 p.m. Monday October 25, 2004 and 1-5 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004.
