Roland Kalbfleisch, age 85. passed away Friday September 17, 2004 at his home.
Roland was born in Brown City, Michigan, the son of Irvin and Anna Mae (West) Kelbfleisch on February 3, 1919.
Roland was in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Roland married Cherie Hagemeister on July 14, 1962 in Flint, Michigan. He had been a long time resident of Dryden, Michigan. Roland lived to  hunt and be outdoors. He had been self-employed as a residential carpenter most of his life.

Roland is survived by his wife Cherie Kalbfleisch of Dryden, Michigan, daughter: Rhonda (Brian) McBride of Dryden, Michigan, son: Jim (Svetlana) Bush of Grand Rapids, Michigan, 3 grandchildren: Tom McBride, Luke McBride and Vicki Highland, 3 sisters: Wilma Gray of Dryden, Janice (Floyd) Sohn of Dryden and Anna Mae (Dave) Long of Rockford, Michigan, and sister-in-law: Velma Kalbfleisch of Columbiaville, Michigan.

Roland is preceded in death by a sister: Orpha Ruth Avery, brothers: Hollis, LeRoy and Donald Kalbfleisch and brother-in-law Louis Fray.

Funeral services will take place Monday September 20, 2004 at Dryden Wesleyan Church. Reverend David Cornwell will officiate. Interment will be at the Dryden Center Cemetery.
