
Genevieve Kozlowski, age 83, of Capac,
Michigan passed away suddenly, Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at William Beaumont
Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Genevieve Hill was born December 10, 1920 in Bridgeport, Connecticut the
daughter of John and Stephanie (Lobidzinska) Hill. She grew up in Hamtramck,
Michigan. She was married to Edward Kozlowski on October 24, 1945 in Ohio.
Edward passed away in 1964.
They moved to the Capac, Michigan area in the early 1970's. She had been
employed as a sewing machine operator for Champion Motorhome in Capac, Michigan
for about 10 years. She was the manager and hostess at Dutch's Inn in Capac for
about 20 years.
Surviving are her daughter; Janet Samel Condo of Smyrna, Georgia, a brother; John (and wife Julia) Hill of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, grandchildren; Alan Lee Samel of Des Moines, Iowa, Brian Lonny Condo of Smyrna, Georgia,
She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Stephanie Hill, her husband; Edward Kozlowski, and two sons-in-law; Donald Sarnel and Robert Condo.
Funeral services will take place 11:00 am Friday, June 4, 2004 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan. The Reverend Father Gerald Frawley of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Capac will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Imlay City, Michigan.
Friends may call at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City. The family will be available for visiting from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2004.
