Elena Morales LaBoy, age 84, of Imlay City, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
Elena was the daughter of Roberto and Solidada (Perez) Morales born September 28, 1919 in Bedias, Texas.
Elena married Julio Packeco LaBoy (he died in 1994), and she had resided in the community most of her life. Elena has been a homemaker and worked on several local farms, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Elena is survived by her son; Antonio Ramirez Jr. of Imlay City, Michigan, 10 grandchildren; Ann Pena, Ermalinda Rodriguez, Evita Rojas, Rene Anzures, Yolanda Ayda, Rose Paniagna, Rose Ester Castillo, Lisa Rivera, Juan Rivera, Jr., Ricardo Rivera, several great-grandchildren and her sister; Juanita Morales of Detroit, Michigan.

Elena is preceded in death by her husband Julio LaBoy, daughters; Erminia Rivera, Elvira Anzures, and son Ernesto Ramiez.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 2, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ezequiel Mondragon officiating with interment at Dawn Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan where family will be available for visiting from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004. There will be a 8:00 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home.
