
Lillian Alice Lindke, age 89, of Imlay
City, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at her home.
Lillian was born January 10, 1921 in the Bronx, New York to Walter and Lillian
(Mason) Becker. She married Raymond Arthur Lindke on June 26, 1948 in Imlay
City, Michigan.
Mrs. Lindke graduated from Evander Childs High School in the Bronx and
Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan. She served in the Army Nurse Corp. in Saipan
and Iwo Jima during WWII. She worked as a registered nurse at Lenox Hill
Hospital (Manhattan), Fordham Hospital (the Bronx) and Almont Hospital, Almont,
Michigan. She also served as missionary in Brazil from 1953 to 1970 with New
Tribes Mission and was a member of North Goodland Baptist Church.
Lillian is survived by daughters; Christine (Tim) See of Camdenton, Missouri, Debra (Ron) Abram of Senegal, West Africa and Loraine (Larry) Frost of Cleveland, Ohio, son; Stephen Lindke of Imlay City, Michigan, daughter-in-law; Corinne Lindke of Brown City, Michigan, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother; Walter (Sue) Becker of Livonia, Michigan.

Visiting will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Thursday, August 19, 2004, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan and 11-1 pm Friday, August 20, 2004 at North Goodland Baptist Church.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at North Goodland Baptist Church. The Reverent Thomas Blount and Reverend Donald Krohn will officiate.
