
Dean John Peters II, age 21, of Imlay
City, Michigan previously of Shelby Township, passed away suddenly Monday June
21, 2004.
Dean is the son of Dean John (he died March 12, 1995) and Darlene (Howcroft)
Peters born June 24, 1982 in Rochester, Michigan.
Deans father moved his family from the Shelby Township, Utica area in 1973.
Dean graduated with the class of 2001 at Almont High School.
He entered the U.S. Navy in 2001.
He was on the Goodland Township Fire Department and was a member of the Grace
Lutheran Church, Romeo, Michigan. He was studying to be an electrician and was a
press operator for Imlay City Molding.
Dean is survived by his mother; Darlene Peters of Imlay City, Michigan, 3 brothers; Jonathan Peters of Goodrich, Michigan, Nathan Peters of Imlay City, Michigan and Bryant Peters of Imlay City, Michigan and a good friend Jeff Tanis, Nephew; Jacob Peters, grandparents; Joan Peters of Goodrich, Michigan, and Herbert and Patricia Howcroft of Shelby Township, Michigan.
Dean is preceded in death by his father; Dean John Peters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Romeo, Michigan. The Reverend Lynn Witt will officiate with interment at Imlay Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 and 1-5 and 6-9 Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan.
There will be a Firemen's Salute at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Muir Brothers Funeral Home.
