
Eva Gwendolyn Thompson, age 95, of Imlay City,
Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday August 29, 2004.
Eva Voss was the daughter of John and Tena (Letson) Voss born November 12, 1908
in Star City, Michigan.
She grew up in Lake, Michigan.
Eva married Clifford Thompson on December 4, 1926 in Weidman, Michigan and had
been a homemaker all her life.
Eva is survived by her daughter; Sharolyn (Floyd) Wells of Imlay City, Michigan, 2 sons; Gene (Linda) Thompson of Imlay City, Michigan, Dean (Vicki) Thompson of Lapeer, Michigan, 9 grandchildren; Rodney Wells, Brian Wells, Susan Rahn, Dawn Wells, Jeff Thompson, Jamie Thompson-Fryer, Andy Thompson, Mark Thompson, Jill Hannan, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; Robert (Betty) Voss of Attica, Charles Voss of Lake, Michigan, Tom (Alma) Voss of Lake, Michigan and sister; Christina Singleton of Schneider, Texas.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband; Clifford Thompson, children; infant son Clifford Thompson Jr., Richard Thompson, Great-granddaughter; Alysha Rahn, sister; Annie McClung, brothers; Ferrand Voss and Doyle Voss.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 31, 2004 at
Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan with Pastor Cliff Schroeder of
Attica United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn
Cemetery in North Branch, Michigan.
Friends may call Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan where family
will be available for visiting from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday August 30, 2004.
