Ed Zegler, age 46, of Attica, Michigan (formerly of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away suddenly Saturday May 15, 2004.
Ed was the son of Edward Leo and Patty Lou (Evans) Zegler Sr. born April 12, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas.
Ed attended high school in Madison Heights, Michigan. He took Travel Agent Courses and worked for the Bemer Travel Agency in Utica and Lake Orion for 6 years.
He married Deborah Elizabeth Moore in Royal Oak, Michigan on May 12, 1979.
For 19 years Ed worked for Roadway Express in Auburn Hills, Michigan as a dock worker and truck driver. Ed was the Union Stewart for 12 of those years for the Teamsters Local 614.
Ed lived in the Imlay City area for about 9 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors and he was truly a loving family man.

He is survived by his wife: Deborah Zegler of Attica, Michigan, 1 daughter: Shelby Marie Zegler, 2 sons: Edward Lee Zegler and Michael Robert Zegler, all of Attica, Michigan. Mother: Patty Lou Zelger of Wichita, Kansas, 1 brother: Robert Evans (Hiromi) Zegler of Terrance, California, 1 sister: Raye Michelle (Richard Ronald Harman) Philips-Harman of Clifton, Kansas.

Ed is preceded in death by his father Edward Zegler Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm., Wednesday May 19, 2004 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City, Michigan.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 pm., Tuesday May 18, 2004.
