How to use the
Anytown.info website![]()
The whole concept stressed throughout the Anytown.info site
is based on one thing, simplicity. Between understanding hardware, software, and
looking throughout the World Wide Web, Anytown Information understands how
confusing it can get. That is why we are dedicated to providing a simple
approach to help find what you are looking for. Since much of the information
computer users are looking for is relevant to particular geographic regions,
Anytown Information has broken the worldwide web down into individual cities. As
you enter the Anytown.info web-site. you will see the jumping spider. You can
either click directly on the spider to move on to the "clicker" page, or, if you
wait a few seconds, the page will automatically advance to it by itself. If you
are unfamiliar with the site and how to use it, there is a link on the initial
jumping spider page which will take users to a different area of the site where
they can find information about Anytown Information. This area of the site opens
up into the announcements page. From here users can browse through and learn
what's new and find documentation to help use and understand the Anytown.info
web-site. You can also get to the "clicker" page to locate your town from here.
It is recommended that users read through the announcements area of the site to
learn about Anytown Information, its purpose, and what it has to offer. It is
also recommended that users read about site limitations and understand them
before proceeding.
Once you proceed to the "clicker page, there are some small
images of different regions which can be clicked on to bring up a map of that
particular region. After selecting your appropriate choice, you can then click
on your town. If you get a message that that town is not yet available, please
be patient as we are working hard to make every town on the site available as
soon as possible. For your convenience, we generally have all available towns
listed on the marquis at the bottom of the "clicker" page for that region. If
your town is not yet available, please click on the "Feedback" link at the left
and let us know what you are looking for. If you like, we can send you E mail
confirmation as to when that area will be available. please keep in mind, when
you use this site, your feedback is a key component in tailoring this site to
your liking. Please don't hesitate to tell us what you think.
After finding your hometown, there is a consistent bar of
links at the top of each towns page. Although these links are just like the next
towns, they are independent of each other. The links are individually outlined
