Mary T. Bednaryczk, age 85, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at her sons home in Burnside Township, Michigan. Mrs. Bednaryczk has lived in the Marlette area since 1940 and was previously from Detroit, Michigan.
She was born February 1, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan daughter to the late Andrew and Mary (Kopchenok) Bednaryczk.
She was a graduate of Chelsea High School.
She married Walter Bednaryczk July 20, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, he has preceded her in death on October 24, 1991.
Mary was a member of the Marlette and Sterling Heights senior citizens.
She enjoyed baking, dancing and listening to polka music and most of all her family.

She is survived by son Melvin and Patricia Bednaryczk of Marlette, Michigan, daughters Eileen Creason of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jeanette Driscoll of Milan, Michigan, Lorraine Puckett of Hendersonville, Tennessee, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and son Andrew.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burnside Township, Michigan, with Rev. Richard Treml officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the United Hospice Service.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 from 1pm to 9pm at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan and Saturday, December 6, 2003 from 11am until the time of service at the Church.

A scripture rosary service will be held Friday evening at 6pm at the funeral chapel.

Casket bearers will be her grandsons Patrick Driscoll, Rod Bednarycak, Randy Bednarycak, Gregory Creason, Larry J. Puckett and Bryan Puckett.
