Dorothy M. Francesconi, age 72, died Monday, March 3, 2003 at Marlette Community Hospital in Marlette, Michigan. Mrs. Francesconi has lived in Snover, Michigan the past 13 years and was previously from the Lapeer, Michigan area.

She was born March 24, 1930 in Grassflat, Pennsylvania, daughter to the late George and Mary (Slamcik) Raycher.

She was married to John Francesconi, he passed away in 1969.

Mrs. Francesconi worked as a cook for Chrysler Corporation. She was member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette and past member of Lapeer Eagles 2427.

Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, painting, cooking and most of all her family.

She is survived by Kenneth and Gila Francesconi (Son) of Nevada, Michael Francesconi (Son) of California, Joseph Francesconi (Son) of Lapeer, Michigan, Diana and Tim Tracy (Daughter) of Snover, Michigan, Denise and James Hutchinson (Daughter) of Macomb, Michigan, Jacqueline Parker (Daughter) of Tulsa, Ohio, Ron Raycher (Brother) of Cleveland, Ohio, Eleven grandchildren and Five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette, Michigan, with Fr. Richard Bokinskie officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Marlette.

Memorials may be given to the United Hospice Service or American Cancer Society.

Casket Bearers - Art Szatkowski, David Francesconi, Jason Tracy, Mat Tracy, Jeff Cloutier, Rick Pasek and Dustin Francesconi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 from 1pm to 9pm at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 10am until the time of service at the Church.

A Parish Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 8:15 pm at the Funeral Chapel.
