Leota B. Lee, age 80, died Thursday. August 28, 2003 at her home in Marlette, Michigan. Mrs. Lee has lived in Marlette since 1991 and was previously from Clemont, Florida and Wayne, Michigan.
She was born December 31, 1922 in Brown City, Michigan daughter to the late Elisha and Laura (Davis) Green.
She married John T. Lee August 11, 1957 in Indiana. He preceded her in death April 24, 1990.

She was a Hair Stylist for many years until her retirement.
Leota was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Marlette, where she held office of Priest and was a minister. She also was a member of the Marlette Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by son Jon Lee of Marlette, Michigan, daughter Karolynn Emerick of Quebec Canada, sister Helen Mattson of Marlette, Michigan, sister in laws June and Gilbert Thompson of Marlette, Michigan, Nelda Green of Brown  City, Michigan, grand daughter Robin Koolagh of Daytona Beach, Florida, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Bob and Gary Green and brother in law Werner Mattson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel i Marlette, Michigan, with D.D. Carol Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Melvin, Michigan.

Memorials may be given to the United Hospice Service, American Cancer Society of Community of Christ Church.

Casket Bearers, Jerry, Ronald, David, Dwight Green, Michael Miller and Matthew Marcott.

Visitation will be held at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan on Friday 1pm to 9pm.
