Barbara A. Lefler, age 45, passed Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at U.of M. Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mrs. Lefler lived in Marlette, Michigan and was previously from the Brown City area.

She was born February 22, 1957. The daughter of Arden and Dorotha Stimson. She graduated from Brown City High School in 1975. She married Paul Lefler June 2, 1990 in Marlette, Michigan. She attended the Marlette First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lefler worked for Dr. Olan Dombroske and Dr. Robert Brengel in Brown city for 21 years and the past 6 years she was office manager. Barb was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

She is survived by her husband Paul, her mother, Dorotha Stimson of Brown City, Michigan, Three sons, Marty Lefler of Fort Myers, Florida, Nick Lefler of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Aaron Lefler of  Marlette, Michigan, Three Brothers, Arthur (Barbara) Stimson of Brown City, Michigan, Larry (Janet) Stimson of East Tawas, Michigan, Roger (Janet) Stimson of Brown City, Michigan, Sister Lynett (Richard) Eastman, Brother in laws Norm (Jane) Lefler of Marlette, Michigan, Cal (Wendy) Lefler of Marlette, Michigan, Sister-in-law Debby (Ron) Tetreault of Canada, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Arden Stimson

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Rev. Daniel Bowman and Rev. Art Stone officiating.

Burial will be in the Marlette Cemetery in Marlette

Memorials may be given to Barb's 4 year old son Aaron

Visitation will be held on Thursday  5pm to 9 pm, and Friday 1pm to 9pm at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette.
