Emil J. Miklovich, age 73, farmer, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medial Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Mr. Miklovich has lived in Clifford, Michigan since 1959 and was previously from the Ohio area.

He was born January 16, 1930 in Lime City, Ohio, son to the late Leonard and Anna (Sedlar) Miklovish. He graduated from North Branch High School in 1948.

He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. He married Kay Miles on October 11, 1956 in Angola, Indiana.

Mr. Miklovich was a member of the North Branch American Legion, D.A.V., Lapeer Farm Bureau, and American Diabetics Association.

He is survived by his wife Kay of Clifford, Michigan, sons, Emil and Valerie Miklovich Jr. of Silverwood, Michigan, Jack Miklovich of Clifford, Michigan, Daniel Miklovich of Farmington Hills, Michigan, daughter, Karen Miklovich of Clifford, Michigan, brother Leonard Miklovich of Lapeer, Michigan, grandchildren Sara, Sherry, Diane, Jessica, Kaitlyn and Kimberly, Foster mother Florence McNish of Fostoria, Michigan, foster brother Bill and Carroll McNish of Fostoria, Michigan, foster sisters Charlotte and Larry Thompson of North Branch, Michigan, Beth and Fred Mohn of Fostoria, Michigan, Janice Menzies of Fostoria, Michigan, niece Kathy and Tim Byzewski of Lake Orion, Michigan, nephew Michael and Debbie Miklovich of Riverside, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Juli, 2 siblings, foster father Harry McNish and foster brother Keith McNish.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan, with Rev. Keith Mead officiating.

Burial will be in the West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood, Michigan.

Memorials may be given to the Burlington Rescue or donation of your choice.

Casket Bearers: John Ferkowicz, Robert Forys, Timothy Forys, Lonny Miles, Keith Miles and Dick Miles.

Visitation will be held at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 from 7pm to 9pm, and Thursday, July 17, 2003 from 1pm to 9pm.
