
Melva P. Muxlow, age 83, of Imlay City, Michigan, passed away, Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Suncrest Medical Care Facility in Lapeer, Michigan. Mrs. Muxlow has lived in Burnside Township for 56 years.
She was born December 23, 1919 in Pigeon, Michigan daughter to the late William and Rosella (Wildfong) Nelson.
She Married Lewis Muxlow September 16, 1940 in Rochester, Michigan.
Mrs. Muxlow was a charter member of the Imlay City Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband Lewis, sons Larry and Darlene Muxlow of North Branch, Michigan, James and Doris Muxlow of Imlay City, Michigan, daughters Sandra Firmingham of Saginaw, Michigan, Dawn and Truman Bissett of Brown City, Michigan, sisters Wilma Goodman of Big Rapids, Michigan, Beverly Choate of Caro, Michigan, Donna Bingle of Lapeer, Michigan, Rose Marie and Jerry Neff of Lake City, Michigan, half sister Geraldine and Mile Cole of Davison, Michigan, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, baby brother JC and grandson Jason Muxlow.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2003 at 1L00 P.M. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Pastor Richard Fledderjohann officiating.
Burial will be in the Burnside Township Cemetery in Brown City.
Memorials may be given to the donation of your choice.
Visitation will be held at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 from 7pm to 9pm and Thursday, March 6, 2003 from 1pm to 9pm.
