
Shirley A. Nauka, age 39, life long resident of
Decker, Michigan, went to be with the Lord after a fulfilling and loving life,
Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Marlette Community Hospital in Marlette, Michigan.
She was born May 26, 1964 in Marlette, Michigan, daughter to Edward Nauka and
Edith Smith.
She enjoyed special Olympics, sports, hunting, the outdoors and most of all her
family.
Miss Nauka was loved by all who ever met her. She taught each of us to love life
and what was truly important.
She will be sadly missed by her father Edward Nauka of Decker, Michigan, mother
Edith (David) Erickson of Canyonville, Oregon, her siblings Jackie (Kent) Shaw
of Clio, Michigan, Thomas Nauka of Argyle, Michigan, Jim (Bonnie) Nauka of
Flint, Michigan, Pam (Scott) Murlick of Birch Run. Michigan.
Her loving nieces and nephews Joe Nauka, Josh, Hannah, Logan and Marissa Shaw,
Hailey and Brandon Nauka, Kay and Kat Cory and Lindsay Murlick, Auntie Ivy and
Uncle Lou Nauka, Uncle Hank and Aunt Betty Nauka, Aunt Eleanor, several cousins
and special friend Jason.
She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Jacklette and nephew Jeff Nauka.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Marsh
Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan, with Pastor George Harmon officiating.
Burial will be in the Moshier Cemetery in Hemans, Michigan
Memorials may be given to the Special Olympics.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday, December 6, 2003 from 10am until the time of service at the funeral chapel.
