Barbara J. Priess, age 67, a home maker died Thursday, October 20, 2003 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Mrs. Priess has lived in the Kingston area since 1974 and was previously from Warren, Michigan.
She was born January 27, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan daughter to the late John and Josephine (Lewansowski) Kaminski.
She married John Priess June 25, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan.
She was a member of the St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Cass City, Michigan.
She enjoyed her family and delighted in her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband John of Kingston, Michigan, daughters; Susan Priess of Imlay City, Michigan, Gerrie (John) Rosenburg of Leonard, Michigan, sisters Dorothy Wierzbicki of Oxford, Michigan, Diane (Tom) Zamberlan of Sterling Heights, Michigan and grandchildren J.B., Maxim, Matthew and Drew.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Cass City, Michigan, with Fr. Steve Fillion officiating.

Following the service cremation will take place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 2, 2003 from 2pm to 9pm and Monday, November 3, 2003 from 1pm to 9pm at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan and Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 10am until the time of service at the St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Cass City, Michigan.

A vigil service will be held on Monday night (November  3, 2003) at 7pm at the funeral Chapel in Marlette, Michigan.
