Bonnie Jean Rattew, Age 40, of Marlette died August 14, 1001 in Marlette. She was born July 25, 1962 in Detroit to Eldon and Norma Jean Johnson. She married Steven Rattew on the 11th of August, 1990.
She was mother and worked as a nurse's aid at Medilodge in Yale and Autumnwood in Deckerville.
As a child she had cerebral palsy and had been the poster child for Easter Seals posing with celebrities Gordie Howe and Carol Channing.
She is survived by her husband Steven Rattew and 7 children; Jeff (Lynette) Rattew, Marlette, Richard Danzak II, Brown City, Amy Rattew, Marlette, Jason Rattew, Marlette, Crystal Jean Danzak, Marlette and Eldon John Danzak, Marlette and Joshua Allen Rattew, Marlette, one grandson Brett Dunn and her father and Step-mother Eldon (Sue) Johnson, one brother Carl Lee Johnson, 2 step-brothers Laird and Carl Ahrens.
She was preceded by her mother Norma Jean Johnson.
A gathering will be held at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City on Friday from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
