
Mary Przekop, age 91, of North Branch, died
Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Mary was born
May 3, 1912 in Poland, she was the daughter of Anthony and Katherine (Koleda)
Trojanowski. She grew up in Caro, but lived most of her life in the North
Branch, Michigan area.
Mary and Walter were united in marriage in 1934. He preceded her in death in
1976. She was a resident at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility for 14 years.
Mary was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, SS. Peter and Paul
Altar Society, and the Blue Star Mothers. She enjoyed crocheting, working on her
Ukranian eggs, playing cards and bingo. She especially enjoyed spending time
with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters; Dolores Truszkowski of Harrison Township, Michigan and Leona (Tom) Ruhlman of North Branch, Michigan, son, Richard (Judy) of Illinois, sister Jean Seroka of Rochester Hills, brothers; John (Josephine) Trojanowski of Oxford, Frank (Jennie) Trojanowski of Flint, Michigan, and Leon Trojanowski of Lapeer, Michigan, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Suncrest Auxiliary.
The family will be present for visitation on Friday, January 16, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 17, 2004 from 10 to 11 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church prior to the funeral mass at 11:00 am, Fr. Jim Jagielski will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
